I earned my Bachelor's in Computer Science from DePaul University, but have worked quite bit outside the tech space since then. With experience in nonprofit event coordinating and preschool teaching, I've learned quite a bit about the balance of creating smooth journeys without sacrificing impact and long-term benefits.
I find UI/UX Design to wonderfully combine my loves for helping people, art, psychology, and technology, so by taking online courses, connecting with designers on social media, and staying up late studying, I am working to improve in design as quickly and as much as possible.
Life, I've found, is mostly messy and complicated and sometimes horridly ugly, but not all of it has to be. My goal is to make this modern, digitized life a little more beautiful, a little easier, and a little less lonely through instinctive, helpful designs.
